Thanks for writing, Bob!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'm particularly proud of the Sherlock Holmes piece.

Have I written short stories? Yep, you've just read a couple. :) If you check the fiction category

http://ilmk.wordpress.com/category/fiction/

you'll find more, although that also includes excerpts.

I'm working on pulling my Kindle fiction into an anthology. I think that will be fun...I'm even engaging a cover artist, which I've been told my books sorely need. :)

The writing I'm doing now is quite satisfying, I don't really feel a push to do something different. I do think that can be a mistake. I do intend to write more titles for the Kindle store, but this blog (and the other two...and the time I spend in the Kindle community) satisfies my current creative itch. There have been times in my past when my creative stuff took too much time away from the family...that's not worth it. They are supportive of this, I think people like it and it helps people, and it pays my kid's rent in college. That all works for me. :)

I'm flattered, though...thanks! If you keep reading this blog, you'll see more of the fiction (even if not everybody likes it). ;)

Oh, did you read

It's cool to me that it is my first work which has been translated. :)

I just read this, along with A Kindle Abandoned. Really Bufo, have you written any novels or short stories? These two tales show a real talent and while I enjoy this blog, I hope you have and will exercise your craft on a larger scale.

Wow!

Thank you, Cynthia, for taking the time to write this. I really appreciate it. I thought A Kindle Carol came out well, but it means a lot to know that someone "out there" liked it.

I'm sure you'll find other things on your Kindle that you like as much, and I'll do my best to keep ILMK enjoyable and informative in the future.

I just have to let you know how I felt about this story. as a new Kindle owner I was just looking for some fun new things to help experiment with my Kindle. When I subscribed to ILMK, it was along with 15 or so others that I just expected to cancel prior to the end of the trial period. then I came across a Kindle carol, and completely changed my view. I had to go back into older issues to find the first 2 parts, and found so many more entries that I will be reading. It is now bookmarked on my laptop as well as a confirmed subscription on my Kindle. Of the other blogs that I joined that day, I have already cancelled most with only 3 or 4 others that I am still considering keeping. But ILMK is the only one that has been added to my Keep list! Please keep up the great work, and know that everything you put into it is worth while for those of us who enjoy hearing your 'voice' daily. Your work is amazing!!
