NOOKColor $199 at Wal-Mart today…but you might want to wait
Black Friday is getting longer. Amazon is doing
right now…with the countdown clock and everything.
Wal-Mart has declared that today, November 5, is Super Saturday. Starting at 11:00 AM, they have special sales.
One of those sales is the NOOKColor for $199. That’s fifty dollars off the price it has been since it was introduced about a year ago. Woo-hoo, right?
Hold on there, cowboy. 
Before you go charging down the hill and charging up that credit card, there are very strong rumors that the NOOKColor will be $199 on Monday…everywhere. The rumor includes that there will be a new NOOK Tablet on Monday, and you might want that instead (even though it is $50 more….again, if the rumors are right).
It’s a good deal, but Wal-Mart may have some returns if there are new releases on Monday.
By the way, Wal-Mart also has refurbed NOOK Colors online for $149.88 and the E Ink NOOK for $89.88 online:
Barnes & Noble has also announced that Fry’s, TigerDirect, and CompUSA are all going to carry the NOOK Simple Touch. The more the merrier, as far as I’m concerned…
