Freebie flash! Fashion, Saint, and Justice

Freebie flash! Fashion, Saint, and Justice

As usual, I don’t vouch for these books, and they come from companies that are not (to my knowledge) blocking text-to-speech. As promotional titles, they may not be free for long. Note: these books are free in the USA: prices in other countries may vary.

Falling Out of Fashion
by Karen Yampolsky
Published by Kensington Books  (a genre and romance publisher)

Comic novel by a fashion insider…it draws comparisons to The Devil Wears Prada, but the reviews on Amazon are a bit uneven.

Sullivan’s Justice
by Nancy Taylor Rosenberg
Published by Pinnacle, the “commercial fiction” (incl. thrillers and true crime), imprint of Kensington Books (a genre and romance publisher)

Rosenberg is a New York Times bestselling author, and this is a sequel to Sullivan’s Law.  The main character is a probation officer and single mother.

St. Dale
by Sharyn McCrumb
Published by Kensington Books (a genre and romance publisher)

The Dale, in this case, is legendary NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt.  The novel concerns a memorial road trip, as a diverse group travels together to seven states in eight days in a pilgrimage of sorts.

Thanks for the heads up on “St Dale.” Don’t pass this up thinking it’s about NASCAR, it isn’t. Sharyn McCrumb is about characterization and her characters are always fascinating.

      Thanks for writing, Tim!

I appreciate that! I did get the freebie for myself…it’s not that high on my reading list, but you’ve convinced me to give it a try at some point.
