Do you read Portuguese?

Do you read Portuguese?

One of my readers asked my permission and has translated my story,

A Trip to the Bookstore

into Portuguese.

This was a little tricky for me.  I don’t read Portuguese, so I can’t really judge the translation before approving the publication.

We’ve worked out the permissions between us.

Here’s how we are going to do it:

If you speak Portuguese and would like to read the translation and let me know what you think, please comment this article (or otherwise contact me).  If you’d like your comment to be private, please indicate that.

I’ll then e-mail you the translation (your e-mail address will not be made public).

You let me know what you think, and based on the feedback, I’ll decide about authorizing it.  If I do, it will first appear in the other blog…and I’ll link to it from this one.  🙂

So, if you read Portuguese and you’d like to review the translation, please let me know.
