Big new Kindle book sale

Big new Kindle book sale

Somewhat similar to the recent Sunshine Deals, Amazon has a new Kindle book sale happening through July 27:

The Big Deal

I’ve linked directly to the books (there is a front page that breaks them into categories), since the 946 books are searchable there.

The price points range from ninety-nine cents to $3.99.

I haven’t had a chance to look through it, but I see some good deals.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies for ninety-nine cents

Old Yeller for $1.99

Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs for $1.99

Fantasy Lover by Sherrylin Kenyon for $2.99

I’ll look through it all later, but wanted to give you the heads up.

By the way, this has gotten me thinking. I got quite a bit in referral fees for the Sunshine Deals, and I can’t do that since California passed an “Amazon law” and Amazon dropped the Associates program in my state. The non-profit with which I work is in the same situation.

So, I kind of hate to see those referral fees not happen. What I was thinking is there may be a non-profit out there that would like to give me links to use to benefit their organization. Obviously, I’d have to approve of what the organization does, and I’m not quite sure about the linking mechanism…they might have to provide me with links.

If you have a non-profit (I’d want it recognized by the IRS…501(c)3, for example), you can comment this post…let me know you’d like your comment kept private. I’d be interested in literacy groups, for one…maybe I’ll check with WorldReader.org.

Just an idea I’m kicking around…other California bloggers could do the same thing…

Regardless, enjoy the sale!

Great idea to link to a non-profit outside of CA. I agree that worldreader is a fantastic idea.

      Thanks for writing, Beth!

Unfortunately, it’s been suggested to me that it might not be okay to do. I have to research that more. It may be that each Associate is only allowed one outlet…that WorldReader.org couldn’t use their own blog and my blog. Not sure yet, though…
