Amazon: “Worldwide Kindle Device Sales More Than Double Last Year’s Record Over Holiday Shopping Weekend”
In this
Amazon touts the great sales for Kindles and related products over the Black Friday – Cyber Monday weekend.
Partially, that was due to the sale (now over) on the
Kindle Fire 7″, LCD Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB – Includes Special Offers
which was their best Cyber Monday sale item ever, according to the release.
Yesterday was the biggest sales day that Kindles have had so far…and the market is still in a big growth phase, in my opinion.
I was especially pleased to see that people took advantage of the Cyber Monday deals on Kindle books I mentioned yesterday…for me, it’s still more about the actual books than anything else, although I do like the delivery systems. 😉

Bufo, I don’t know how to contact you….I have been a subscriber to your blog for 3 years. I now have a Kindle Fire HD. I got your blog on my first generation Kindle Fire but don’t know how to get it on my Kindle FIre HD. Suggestions? Thank you.

Thanks for writing, Lois!
This works fine to contact me. 🙂
I’m presuming you were reading it through Pulse on your KF1? Pulse doesn’t come installed on the KFHD, but you can get it in the Amazon Appstore…and it’s free.
If you need more help with this, let me know…and thanks for asking about it. 🙂

I am thrilled that you answered so quickly. I got your blog on my Kindle Keyboard, then on pulse on the Fire. I know you recommend the Flipboard (I think that is what it is called). Would I get your blog on the Flipboard? or should I stick with the Pulse?
(I have several of your books too. I feel like I’m talking to a celebrity…LOL…LOL)

Thanks for writing, Lois!
I like the look and feel of Flipboard better than Pulse, but Pulse allows you to add specific sources you choose (like this blog). Flipboard lets you use Twitter and/or Google Reader as a source. Every post here gets automatically tweeted, so you would see a link in Flipboard and then click on it to read the post.
