Amazon’s Black Friday device deals are here: Echo $149, Fire 7 $34.99, Fire TV Stick $24.99
This is it!
Additional Amazon devices discounted…there may yet be lightning deals (including that E-Book Reader/Kindle Unlimited bundle I think will happen), but these are likely the best prices for these devices that you can get without lucking into the timing.😉
They are giving us the dates the sales end. It’s possible they may sell out, but I’m guessing you are okay waiting for a bit.
Ending Saturday November 28
Fire, 7″ Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB – Includes Special Offers, Black (at AmazonSmile: benefit a non-profit of your choice by shopping*) $34.99 ($15): this is a serviceable tablet, which gives you the ability to read e-books, watch videos, play games, go on the web…and it has Fire OS 5, which I like quite a bit. One tip: if you get this, get the Swype Keyboard Free so you can have “trace typing” and Nuance (the people who make Dragon) dictation. There is also a $0.99 version of the app Fire 7″ 2015: first impressions and menu map (part 1)
Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote (at AmazonSmile*) $24.99 without the voice remote, $34.99 with it (both $15 off). This is the least expensive way to get Alexa, although this version of Amazon’s contech (conversational technology) is not as full featured as that on the Echo (see below). You can use Alexa without the voice remote, by using the app on your Smartphone The Fire TV Buyer’s Guide: September 2015
Ending (Cyber) Monday November 30:
Amazon Fire TV (at AmazonSmile*) $74.99 ($25) off. I have ours on right now.🙂 It’s how we watch TV in one room (we use a Fire TV Stick) in the other room where we have a TV. The gaming edition, by the way, is not part of this sale The Fire TV Buyer’s Guide: September 2015
Amazon Echo (at AmazonSmile: benefit a non-profit of your choice by shopping*) $149 ($30 off). We use ours every day. This is the first generally available sale on this…Prime members could initially get it (by invitation only) for $99. It’s becoming more and more useful…they keep adding “Alexa Skills” (basically apps) and features. One thing I do is use it to change from the Fire TV to “regular TV”, and so on…just by asking. For more information (including how to set up the changes…I use a Logitech Harmony Home Control – 8 Devices (White) (at AmazonSmile*)), see this category at my The Measured Circle blog: Amazon Echo
Those are all new deals. I wrote about some of the other deals here:
That includes the
for $49.99 ($30 off) through November 30th.
There are going to be a lot of people getting devices this holiday season…and that should give Amazon many happy returns going forward!😉

* I am linking to the same thing at the regular Amazon site, and at AmazonSmile. When you shop at AmazonSmile, half a percent of your purchase price on eligible items goes to a non-profit you choose. It will feel just like shopping at Amazon: you’ll be using your same account. The one thing for you that is different is that you pick a non-profit the first time you go (which you can change whenever you want)…and the good feeling you’ll get. Shop ’til you help!
