Today’s Kindle Daily Deal (KDD) and “Deal of the Day”: big bestsellers at great prices!

This will be one of the biggest days of the year for Kindle store e-book downloads, and with these deals, no wonder!

You can get to them as part of today’s

Kindle Daily Deal (at AmazonSmile…benefit a non-profit of your choice by shopping*)

which also has additional titles.

Buy them for yourself (many people get Amazon Gift Cards ( at AmazonSmile*) today, or just want to fill new devices), or you can buy them as gifts. In the latter case, you can delay them for the appropriate gift-giving occasion, or send them to yourself and print them for whenever you want.

* I am linking to the same thing at the regular Amazon site, and at AmazonSmile. When you shop at AmazonSmile, half a percent of your purchase price on eligible items goes to a non-profit you choose. It will feel just like shopping at Amazon: you’ll be using your same account. The one thing for you that is different is that you pick a non-profit the first time you go (which you can change whenever you want)…and the good feeling you’ll get. :) Shop ’til you help! :)

It’s a little late on 12/26 but one of my favorites – Anne Tyler, The Accidental Tourist is a KDD for 1.99. IMHO a great choice for any fiction fan.

      Thanks for writing, Allie!

When I managed a brick-and-mortar bookstore, that was certainly an important title! We didn’t sell a lot of them, honestly, but we would have people come in seeking out the trade paperback.

Weren’t those Anne Tyler trade paperbacks lovely?? I had her first 12 novels in the trade editions. Unfortunately my paper books collection has been through a lot of strife, and each of her kindle books generally run for about 12 bucks, which is steep for me. When I absolutely cannot wait to re-read any one in particular, I cave and get it. 🙂

Yes, those covers were beautifully designed! Definitely stand-outs.
