* I am linking to the same thing at the regular Amazon site, and at AmazonSmile. When you shop at AmazonSmile, half a percent of your purchase price on eligible items goes to a non-profit you choose. It will feel just like shopping at Amazon: you’ll be using your same account. The one thing for you that is different is that you pick a non-profit the first time you go (which you can change whenever you want)…and the good feeling you’ll get. :) Shop ’til you help! :)

Helen MacInnes was one of my favorite writers when I was a teen. I clicked the link and saw her first book was on 99¢ so I bought it. I’m not sure if I read that one or not. I remember my favorite was “Decision at Delphi.”

Then, I scrolled down the page and made the most wonderful discovery. Mary Stewart’s books are finally available on Kindle, and most of them are 99¢ to $1.99. I snatched up my favorites in case this turns out to be a short time deal.

I had her books on my eRIQ list to be notified when they were Kindlized, but I never received notification. Apparently that feature is still broken. Too bad Amazon doesn’t offer the same service.

Anyway, thanks for the link that led to the link that’s going to allow me to reread some favorite books from the past to see if they’re still as good as I remember. It’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Nothing better than favorite books on a rainy Sunday!

Interesting! I’m sure a lot of people will be interested in those:

It’s worth noting that this does not include the Merlin trilogy…

      • Lady Galaxy Says:

I didn’t notice the Merlin trilogy wasn’t included. Perhaps there was a change in publishers when she transitioned from mystery to fantasy. The books that became available are through the Hachett Group. I notice from the punctuation that they are the British editions.

I still have my raggedy old Fawcett paperback copies of “The Moon-spinners,” list price 60¢ and “Airs Above the Around,” list price 75¢. Current price for Kindle editions 99¢ and $2.99. Still a good bargain!
